Your Animal Guides Reading 19/08/14

Welcome :)

You have reached the post with the meanings for today's Oracle Reading with Animal Cards, from Paganesque.

The intention of this reading was to give you access to animal guides that can help you this week - and they are an interesting bunch too! I have used three decks:

1. The Secret Language of Animals by Chip Richards
2. Druid Animal Oracle Deck by Philip and Stephanie Carr-Gorman,
3. Messages from your Animal Spirit Guides from Steven Farmer.

At the moment, things might feel a little bit crazy. It's probably the Planets - and humanity's constantly evolving nature - but there is a lot of crazy around... a lot of people are left wondering, "What the?" and feeling frustrated or like they are losing control. I'm told that the Earth's energies are shifting and that we have to be open to change... and let the energies flow.

That sounds great and all, and full of love and light - but it can be a difficult, painful process - but apparently we emerge on the other side stronger and happier. Apparently! hahaha.

Animals ground us. They seem to deal with the planet just fine. They just go on being animals and it appears evolution has served them well... except for when we get involved. Our need to control and dominate our environment extends to our inner thoughts and emotions too... and when we are confronted by unfathomable or uncomfortable things we feel fear and become resistant. We can look to animal guides for comfort, stability and new perspectives on any problems that we face. We can harness their 'energy' for strength and responses or solutions to what is worrying us.

These animals are just a few - your particular spirit guide might not be here - in which case the animal you are drawn to probably has similar qualities. You will find that if you notice events and your surroundings, you will get clues as to which animals are your real guides :)

So here are the meanings of the cards:

1. Goose - Druid Animal Oracle
2. Cardinal - Messages from your Animal Spirit Guides
3. Bull - Druid Animal Oracle
4. Tree Frog - Secret Language of Animals
5. Tiger - Messages from your Animal Spirit Guides
6. Stick Insect - Secret Language of Animals

~~~~~~~
 Card 1 - Goose - Druid Animal Oracle
Vigilance – Parenthood – Productive power
Meaning: Drawn upright, this card may indicate that you are ready to take on the responsibilities of raising a family, or of committing yourself to a long-term partnership, Geadh brings creative and productive power, and allows you to open to this power, secure in the knowledge that your relationship, family or working partnership will provide a stable environment to act as a crucible for your creativity. The goose, with its strong attachment to its family and the ability to fly extraordinarily high from one continent to another, shows us that is it possible to be both grounded and spiritual in our daily lives.
Reversed meaning: Are you overly concerned about your rights, possessions or territory? Perhaps you are too possessive of your partner. While geese tend to mate for life, many humans do not – staying together may not be in your best interests. If the relationship is meant to last, it will thrive on mutual respect and freedom, no jealousy and possessiveness.
The ancient Celts kept geese for their eggs rather than their flesh. They knew it was best to keep the goose alive and productive. The lesson for us is that if we want to ensure our productive power, our capacity for creativity, we must look after ourselves. To make sure the goose keeps laying the golden eggs, we must keep the goose alive – well fed, well rested, well exercised.
Card 2 - Cardinal - Messages from you Animal Spirit Guides
“The polarities of your spiritual pursuits and physical pleasures are out of balance, so do whatever is necessary to bring them back into equilibrium.”
When on the spiritual path, it’s easy to idealise what being spiritual means. It can become a rigid mental imprint on which you judge anything that varies from your conceptualisation of what ‘being spiritual’ is supposed to be about. This includes not only another person’s practices and beliefs, but your own. Falling short of this idealism leads to either assuming a righteous and arrogant positive with others, or when self-imposed, elicits guilt and shame.
This spiritual perfectionism can make you reticent about enjoying the pleasures of the material world, as well as those of your physical body. The Earth Herself provides a dazzling and sensual panorama of experiences to be directly encountered through the physical senses. Yet for many, truly enjoying the pleasures of the senses of sight, sound, taste, touch and smell can be fraught with worry, anxiety, guilt, and shame – products or early childhood religious and/or cultural conditioning. Others become so entangled in the world of the senses that it becomes their god, and their spiritual core is lost to materiality.
To be polarised in one direction or another take you either to lofty heights and iridescent abstractions that are completely ungrounded, or else causes you to become caught up in the glue of the mundane world without the guiding light of Spirit to provide a locus of authority. With the blessing of your awareness, you can redirect your thoughts and actions toward that which brings greater balance and fluidity between the two polarities.
Associations: Courtship; singing; vitality; self-defence; integration; balance; spirituality; fatherhood; harmony; self-expression; confidence; listening; intuition; creativity; responsibility; colourfulness.
Card 3 - Bull - Druid Animal Oracle
Wealth – Potency – Beneficence
Meaning: Tarbh mediates the influence of Taranis, the Jupiter-like God of the Druids, whose beneficence and expansiveness bring the opportunity for a rich and abundant life. The bull is a symbol of wealth, and it is auspicious to draw this card when considering financial matters. But, remember that the ancient ones understood that true wealth is found in the heart and soul first, and only then in the material world. The bull represents fertility, potency, abundance and prosperity, things can sometimes take a while to achieve. If your goals require you to work steadfastly in trying circumstances for a considerable period of time, the bull will help you to succeed without becoming drained or depressed.
Reverse meaning: Do you have difficulty getting motivated? There is no animal more stubborn than a bull who refuses to move, and it may be important for you to look at the roots of your lack of motivation. You may also need to ask yourself whether you are sufficiently sensitive to others’ needs. Do you have a tendency to act like a ‘bull in a china shop’? A bull’s power, when harnessed or channelled, can be awesome, but when a bull is maddened he can become dangerous. How do you react under provocation? Think about whether you are tempted to use your personal power as power over others.
~~~~~~~
Card 4 - Tree Frog - Secret Language of Animals
Soul Song, meditation, creation, rebirth

Breathe. Breathe deep and breathe again. Allow your breathing to find a steady rhythm and keep your focus there. Right there on your breath. Close your eyes and bring your attention to the center of your being. Feel the rhythm of this breathing come from this place. Return to this place. All
begins in the center. Drawing in your breath through your nose, allow yourself to begin to hum softly and rhythmically as you exhale. Releasing thoughts and feelings. Releasing pain and uncertainty. Humming as your breathe. Feel the rhythm building. Allow the humming to grow and allow the rhythm to keep building. Allow the humming to grow and allow your body to sway from side to side or forward to back. When you’re ready, open your mouth and allow the humming breath to grow into another sound – whatever sound wants to come through. Stay in the rhythm. Sink into your seat. Sink into the earth. Call upon the ancestors whose feet have sung and danced in this oil. Call upon the wise ones whose faces have been painted in this mud. Whose bodies have been bathed in these waters? In the rhythmic song of your breathing, allow yourself to begin dreaming of all that you wish to birth into the world.

Frog brings you the gift of deep resonance and returning to the song of your soul. Time to awaken the sacred rhythm that calls your visions into being. There will be time for great, inspired action and that time may come very soon. But for this moment Frog invites you to sit for a time in prayer and meditation and allow the energy of your deeper Earth purpose to build up inside. Allow yourself to see yourself from way above or from the future of your path, looking back upon this moment as a turning point in your soul’s journey in the world. Open to the song that is waiting within. Know that it is honoured, welcomed and needed here – celebrated and joined by many. Frog calls you to sink deeply into the center of your being and allow your actions to arise naturally from the wellspring of your soul’s deepest dreaming.
Affirmation:
I am a guardian of Earth’s highest dreaming.
I honour this role with my soul’s purest singing.
I am awake and living my purpose with every breath.

Card 5 - Tiger - Messages from your Animal Spirit Guides

“You’re being called upon to provide leadership, so trust that you’re capable of doing so”
Being an effective and compassionate leader requires that you know the art of balancing yin and yang – discerning when to advance and when to yield – and pay attention to the subtleties and the flow of the group process, while simultaneously staying attuned to your own intuitive voice. Whether your role as leader applies to your family, friends, employees, or a nation, you must listen to those around you and respond to their needs with strength and compassion. ANs when you deem it necessary, you need to follow your own sensibilities even though others may disagree with you. To the best of your ability, make your decisions based on what you determine to be for the greatest good, rather than catering to self-serving needs.
Fear and doubt may arise at times, but don’t let them deter you from your purpose. The best leaders aren’t perfect, but they’re willing to take calculated risks based on their own convictions and passionate desire to do the right thing. On occasion you may stumble or even fall, but don’t let that impede the acceptance of the leadership you’re being called to provide. Others are looking to you for guidance. Don’t let it go to your head, but do let it go to your heart.
Associations – Sensuality, passion, independence, confidence, clairvoyance, mysticism, intuition, power, agility, gracefulness, loyalty, intensity, devotion, focus, patience, stealth, healing, vitality, regeneration, adventure, challenge, tactility, sexuality.

~~~~~
Card 6 - Stick Insect - Secret Language of Animals
Stillness - awareness - discernment - composure
There are times to move with great acceleration and power. There are times to return to
natural rhythms and to move at a gentler pace. The message of Stick Insect takes this spectrum one step further, calling us to return to that ancient place deep within that knows the power of pure stillness. Become observant. Open your eyes to see and take in the world with all your senses. There is potency in silence and stillness. There is power in allowing yourself to become invisible for a time. To carry on with your own business, building up the rhythm of your work in the world without the need to be seen or noticed. Discernment is key at this time. Don't broadcast yourself or be lured by others agendas. Keep your plans close to your heart and keep your energy sweetly focused on the simple task of nurturing the seeds you've planted and tending your garden of life. Be patient and grateful. The harvest time is coming. But for the moment what is brewing deep within you is simply a contract between you and your Creator. Honour it with an inner smile as an invitation to savour the sacred stillness of your being. Instead of chasing the thoughts and opinions of others, spend more time in prayer and meditation, seeking the direct counsel of your greater Source within. And from this center place, bring your expanded awareness gently back into your world. As your mind and movements slow down, your ability to see and perceive opportunity expands. You will know what action is needed and you will move with calmness and clarity. You will smile softly and those around you may not even notice as you step from quiet stillness to full fruition and the joyful harvest of your dreams.
Affirmation: In the stillness I am power. Nothing to hide and nothing to prove. In the stillness I express. In the stillness I am present to the pulse of my Creator…rising up within me.
Mixed Oracle reading 13/08/14
Hello everyone :)
How are you today? It's a lovely warm wintery not-quite-Spring morning here .... feeling wistful. And hopeful :)
Today's reading is a lovely one - reaffirming and getting us invigorated for our goals. Every one of these cards resonated for me - and gives me comfort. The time to act for change is now - follow your instincts and make those changes. Be kind to yourself - enjoy your spiritual life  - you don't even need to do anything, just be you!
And I love the appearance of the Morrighan... as I was reading the meaning I was like, wooooow. It's like she is talking to me! hahah. Hope you like :)
Here are the actual meanings of the cards:
1. Oracle of Visions:
** I can't find the booklet that goes with this deck! Buggar! But all is not lost :) **
The Oracle of Visions deck was created to ignite our intuition - and the fact that I can't find the booklet means that is exactly what we are asked to do. The Universe is telling us that we don't need to rely on other people, other information sources, or other sources of peace, comfort, strength and security from others...everything we need is inside ourselves - you have all you need to be happy and achieve your dreams.
This card reminds me of the 4 of Swords in Tarot - the card is about reflection, daydreaming, being placed on a pedestal and procrastination. All different things, but connected in the mental aspect of looking within to our own hopes, fears and dreams - and forces us to ask ourselves, "what exactly ARE you doing with yourself?"
If you picked this card, have a quiet moment and look - what do you see? What is it reminding you of, what is it telling you?
I see a figure happily withdrawn - in an introspective mood and just contemplating peace and solitude - however - the clock is hanging over her - she still has her commitments and has to get things done! But they can wait for a moment - let her just relax for a timeless moment... please? lol.
2. Oracle of the Mermaids - Visions – Psychic images, clairvoyance, seeing, out of body travel
Spiritual work is supported by the moonlight. We can see more of the energetic space and through the layers. Moonlight exposes the leaks – what needs to be removed or worked with. We will find these by looking for energy blocks – compounding and compacting – like band aids over a wound.  Learn to work with your energy – look for ways to connect with your source. When connecting to the moon you will feel more whole – you will become attuned with the world and fears may subside. Allow yourself to be guided by intuition.  You will allow yourself to see with your psychic vision and will find others on the same wavelength who will understand you – and help you explore. These flashes are not dreams, will not come when you sleep. You will have to adjust to having one more type of vision, or trusting your gut instinct. As you listen, and connect, you will understand more of the thoughts, flashes, visions and guesses coming to you.
3. Healing with Fairies - Peace of Mind
Make peacefulness your highest priority. Commit to taking steps to ensure peace of mind, and take those steps without delay.
Peace of mind isn’t something you have to earn or acquire, since your true self is already peaceful. Instead, it requires being like a sculptor with a block of marble, who works with this material until the inner masterpiece is revealed. If you’ll make peace of mind your main focus, you’ll inevitably feel a great sense of relief.
Steps that create peace of mind include being honest with yourself, living according to your inner guidance, being helpful and kind to others, practicing meditation or yoga, eating only healthful foods, avoiding toxins, maintaining health sleep habits, avoiding negative people and media, surrendering your problems to God, communing with nature, simplifying your life, and saying no when you need to.
Affirmation: My mind is now peaceful, and I know that all of my needs are automatically taken care of. I can rest easily, assured that all is well.
4. Oracle of the Dragonfae - The Morrighan - take action
The Morrighan speaks:
“I see now that events are moving extremely fast: this is a time of rapid change and creation, so rapid that you may wish to slow down, just a little. However I say to you clearly that the time to act is now: and that procrastination and hesitation are your enemies at this time. I can lead you forward through this time, and help you pick your way through the minefield before you. This is a time of testing and darkness, but through this you will grow strong. This is a time of testing and darkness, but though this you will grow strong. Be aware! If you have resisted your abilities, or felt blocked in terms of following your life path, these change will take place very rapidly because they have been waiting for a signal to be able to come in, and they are working hard with you so you do not have to endure a long, drawn out process of change. Truly, you are ready. Take flight with me, and know that taking your own path seriously and acting now with deep integrity, is the way for justice to reach you.
Do not give in to panic and do not run. Now is the time. If not now, when?
You have already tortured yourself in a thousand ways with your thoughts. You cannot avoid change: each day your cells renew, and all you have to do is breathe in and out for this process to take place. You are confusing stasis with safety – there is nothing to fear, there is everything to gain. Give up your fear, your victimhood and your petty grievances, and walk a while with me and my raven as we pass through the wild dark of the wood and emerge on the other side... changed, transformed and powerful.”
About the Morrighan:
The Morrighan is the Ancient Dragonfae Celtic Goddess of death and change: she not only gave warriors premonitions of their passing so they could make preparations, she eased them through their passage to the other side. Thus she rules transitions in our lives: not simply the ones from this life to the next, but the ones that take us into the unknown, through our fear and into the alchemy of magick, where we are able to show who we truly are. A triple Dragonfae Goddess, she is fierce, fair and utterly without malice. She is, however, a straightforward and sometimes abrupt teacher and guide. Be strong, and be prepared for deep change when she makes an appearance. Do not go into fear at those words: let your courage feel inspired and know that destiny has given you an opportunity to be the courageous being of action that you truly are.
Divinatory meanings:
A turning point in your life demands action on your behalf, and backing down or avoidance is not the answer. The Morrighan calls on you to take action and to face your fears. This way, your transformation will be one which give you great strength and wisdom. Feeling frightened, alone and hesitant will only lead you astray. Follow her guidance, know that she will walk forward with you and assist you in uncovering strengths you never believed you had. Draw strong boundaries and claim your space. She can signify transitions and rites of passage. Birth, death, physical change. Spirit connected with loved ones who have passed away may also be indicated by The Morrighan.
Working with the Morrighan:
Face troubles rather than turning away. Confront injustice and change the rules by which you have felt bound. Break free from stagnating jobs and pursuits, relationships that offer no life source. Cross over into a more spiritual path and learn to work with your strength and your own ability to create deep change. Losing fear of your own power. Invoking natural laws, knowing you have been acting in integrity. Mediumship.
~ Archetypes ~ The Court Jester ~
~ Archetypes ~ Court Jester ~
Last weekend I attended an evening with Brian Dale, an Archetypes enthusiast and expert author of Archetypes: Why you do what you do.
It was fantastic! I wish I could say more, but there isn't much to say, I will be doing his workshop in a few months and can't wait. I wanted to share some of his awesome work with you, and upon hearing of the sad death of Robin Williams, thought that the Court Jester would be a great place to start.
The Court Jester plays the fool for laughs, but is smarter than you think. They command attention with their cheeky sarcasm or dry wit, and gage people's reactions - picking up intuitively on where they stand and how far the Jester can go.
Sadly the jokes and façade hide insecurities - and the Jester can make fun of themselves at their own expense - often exposing a vulnerability they cannot retract.
They are the 'clever entertainer, an informed detective and perfectly concealed spy'... and if they leave you wondering whether they are joking or not - their work is done.
And they love figuring out what makes people tick - and pushing the envelope as only they can - being the perfect spy for the King and Queen with their excellent judge of character.
Some qualities associated with the Court Jester are insight, wisdom, integrity, exposing the truth, courage, heckler, delusional, humour in poor taste, low self esteem, misunderstood, deceptive, foolish, influential, light hearted.
RIP Robin Williams, from one Court Jester to another
If you want to find out more about Brian Dale, he has a website -
Halloween Oracle 11/08/14
Hello!
Yes I know Halloween is ages away - but I couldn't wait to use the deck :) This is the Halloween Oracle deck by Stacey Demarco :)
I did this reading under the light of last night's beautiful Super Moon too - for extra divinatory power!
This reading is telling me that things have been too serious for too long. Interestingly, last night I did a reading for a client and the same sort of message came up. It is easy to get caught up in the dreariness of life and what you don't have - but instead of focusing on that, look to what you do have. See how far you have come and count your blessings.
A special friend of mine lost her father yesterday - life is fleeting. You never know when your next conversation with someone will be the last - so perhaps we should start treating each day, each conversation with loved ones, each morning or night as our last? I'm not saying to run around like a lawless idiot doing whatever you want without consequences, but to tell your loved ones you love them. Apologise if you have done something dumb and there is tension ... take responsibility but allow yourself and others to move on.
Spend time with your kids or animals - every day is a new day.
This goes for other things that seem to be going wrong in your life as well - for me at the moment, it is Uni. You can't change the past but you can change the future - recognise what you need to change or approach differently and start tomorrow morning! (Or NOW) But don't put things off any longer.
The full moon is a great time to release the old and bring in the new... so get out there tonight and just tell the moon what you no longer need. And know that you have released the muck from your life. Things will get better :)
Here are the actual meanings of the cards:
Card 1:
Trick or treat – Mischief and Play
Trick-or-treating is such a fun thing to do, is it not? Yet, why do we trick-or-treat?
Ancient peoples understood that there were both mischievous and perhaps nasty spirits wandering around at nightfall at Halloween as well as happier, more benevolent spirits. They thought that if they dressed as spirits themselves (or other frightening creatures) then they would not be recognised as human and attacked. The idea of causing a little chaos as one of these ‘spirits’ was part of the imitation (and the enjoyment) of the night.  The practice in medieval Britain was aptly called ‘souling’.
Today trick-or-treating is a huge event. We spend much time, money and effort dressing up as our scariest creatures and this has even extended to dressing up as our favourite celebrities and other pop culture idols. Instead of traditional candy apples and barmbrack, we give out a mindboggling variety of candy. It matters not – the idea of frightening away death and darkness still stands.
I believe that the modern trick-or-treating also unites communities by introducing our families and friends to those around us in a non-threatening and joyful way. Many of us do not know our neighbours – even those who live next door – and Halloween gives us an excuse not be so reversed and extend our boundaries.
Should you receive the Trick-or-Treat card in your divination, it may well be a time to examine the role of play and mischief in your own life. You don’t have to be a child to let go and have some playtime and you can extend the fun to others. Sometimes we are afraid to make mistakes and play is one way to alleviate the pressure that we sometimes place on ourselves to get everything perfect every time. Alternatively, it is worth knowing that there is a balance between manipulation and mischief – the former is not pleasant and the other has, at its core, a sense of irreverent fun.
Card 2:
Dawn – The light after the darkness
Whilst midnight is often thought of as a magickal hour, throughout time dawn has also had its share of the mystical. All manner of magickal beings had to return to their true forms by dawn (werewolves, for example) and vampires could only be active whilst the rays of the sun did not pierce the sky.
Dawn and deities of dawn heralded both hope and new life. Goddesses such as Eostre and Gods like Helios and Apollo were those who brought new life and the dawn’s light to the world. The journey from the darkest night of the soul to a bright and hopeful dawn is one of the deepest and most powerful heroes’ paths repeated over and over in mythology.
Should you receive the Dawn card, you are being reminded that there is always a fresh start and a new beginning to be had. Change is unstoppable and even the most difficult time will pass, no matter how devastating they may seem. Hope is one of the most powerful motivating forces in the Universe and its being indicated here.
Card 3:
Skeleton – Strength
Halloween is a scary festival. It is meant to frighten – we are meant to feel the release of being pleasantly scared. We trick-or-treat even though we know that someone may surprise us, we watch horror films knowing they will scare us, we even dress as skeletons who have no flesh at all and their bones are there for all to see! In short, we show our vulnerability at Halloween and our strength in facing our fears too.
There is incredible strength in showing vulnerability. It can often be the bravest course of action and the most frightening. More often than not, it is a powerful catalyst for personal growth even though we may not be able to perceive that at the time.
By showing our true selves and displaying some balanced vulnerability we can seek and receive greater understanding from others. By admitting that we are wrong or that we don’t have the solution when we are expected to we leave more room to turn things round faster. By asking for help and support rather than acting as martyrs and feeling resentful shows strength and wisdom, not weakness.
Should the Skeleton card bring itself to your attention, start to show strength and vulnerability if that is what you really feel. Shame, pride, grudges or embarrassment are hefty burdens that need to not be carried thought the darkest of nights.
Oracle reading 04/08/2014
Good morning and welcome to a brand new week!
This week I mixed four decks for you to choose a single card from, though of course you can choose more than one, all of them or none at all!
The cards are (L-R, top row, then bottom row):
1. Gaia Oracle - Perception - beyond the veil of illusion
2. Earth Magic Oracle - Gaia - Nurturing
3. Spirit of the Wheel Meditation Cards - Purity - Spirit Path of the North.
4. Chakra Insight Oracle - Honesty (Throat Chakra)
The vibe I get from these cards today is one of nurturing our deep inner selves. Nourishing our souls. Taking time out just for us. Trying not to overthink everything and just go with the flow.
Last week was crazy for me - busy, emotional, not sure what I'm doing with myself or my life - the mind can be such a powerful prison! But here I am, brushing myself off and jumping back on the 'life' bandwagon lol. I might even go to the gym today!
It is interesting how 'Earthy' today's cards are :) With the Gaia oracle used, and then Gaia coming up in the Earth magic oracle - Gaia being the Greek Goddess embodying Earth. Then in the Spirit of the Wheel - the path of the North - well North corresponds with the Earth Element, unless like me you live in the Southern Hemisphere and associate it with Fire!
The Honesty and Perception cards are an interesting mix too - they tell us read between the lines, to look through the façade that we (and others) show and to find our truth. But to be gentle and forgiving while you do it :) It is all about growth.
I have no idea what my 'truth' is - it has been a running theme this year - some say your 'truth' is your passion, your inner self, your spirit and your drive - which means perhaps I'm finding 'myself' this year - or a new version of myself :)
Anyway, I hope you have a great week! Here are the individual meanings of the cards:
1. Gaia Oracle
Perception – beyond the veil of illusion
The lady featured on this card looks directly at the observer. She radiates love and wisdom, yet stands firmly in her own truth. From this standpoint she is able to see beyond the veil of illusion. She has shown up in your reading today to reflect these same qualities within you. You are advised to stand your ground with regards to a particular person or issue. Stand within your own truth and don’t be swayed by another’s beliefs, opinions or views. If it doesn’t feel right, then it’s not; trust your intuition and gut feeling on this one. Be true to yourself. You can respect another’s views without having to change your value systems. If it doesn’t align with your values, then don’t take it on.
Affirmation:
I honour another’s truth but stand firm within my own.
I am comfortable with who I am.
I keep an open heart and mind.
I empower myself when I honour my values.
In being true to me I am also true to others.
2. Earth Magic
Gaia – Nurturing
Receiving can be a sacred act if your intention is to honour Spirit. It is as holy as giving when performed with a humble and open heart. This is even truer when receiving much needed nurturing, so let others give to you. It may be a stretch to do so at times because of childhood conditioning, but that habit can be overcome. Your wounds can be healed. One way to achieve this is to nurture yourself, and allow others to nurture you.
Consider the actions you take that are self-nurturing. What comes to your mind when you really think about doing beneficial things for yourself? Set aside your ritualised habits and beliefs that restrict the pure act of allowing your body, heart and soul to be nurtured. Lie on the Earth and ask Gaia to rock you in her bosom as you breathe with her and relax into her loving care.
3.  Spirit of the Wheel meditation cards
Purity – Spirit path of the North
Keywords: inner child, innocence, freedom
Your inner child is longing for the days when responsibilities were few and your heart was free to dream and play. Take a break from the complexities of life and recognise your inner child. Work on forgiving yourself and other by letting go of regret or remorse. Hanging on to the past stops the flow of life from moving through you and prevents you from discovering your true potential.
Our childhood experiences sometimes leave us with emotion scars. We pile on layers of armour to protect the child within. Returning to the state of innocence is necessary for us to purify and nurture our inner child. For it is only through embracing life fully that we are able to begin to recover what has been lost.
There is a world of beauty to discover, so give your heart wings and soar above the mundane Recover your innocent and embrace the simple state of joy that is your natural birth right.
Prayer: Hel me Great Spirit to learn to honour myself. Let me see the world through the eyes of my inner child, and to recapture the wonder and innocence that can set my heart free.
4.  Chakra Insight Oracle
Honesty – Throat Chakra
Truth – transparency – sincerity – communication
Honesty opens the door to true freedom. Honesty is the currency of inner strength. Experience the power of sharing your truth.
This card is all about truth. To live honestly and truthfully. Being honest in your words and actions.
While sometimes honesty seems like a difficult path to walk, in the end it is the only way that truly fulfils and sustains us. When you can speak your truth without attachment to how others respond, then you are truly free to be yourself.
When we gossip about others or speak dishonestly in any way, there is a part of us that knows it. If we go along with something that isn’t aligned with who we really are, we feel it deep inside. By acting outside of our integrity, we betray a part of ourselves, and in doing so we move away from our soul’s path.
This card is a call to new levels of honesty and transparency. It is time to honour your values and beliefs and to live in alignment with these. If there are things that need to be said, now may be the time to speak up. If you are living in ways that are not aligned with who you came here to be, now is the time to be honest with yourself. If you feel blocked or stuck in your relationships because of hidden truths or unshared feelings, take this opportunity to come clean. Talk about it or write about it. Find ways to honestly express yourself. Your world will be transformed.
