Oracle of the Mermaids reading 13/07/2014

Good morning! How did you fair after last nights beautiful Super Moon? It was so big and yellow and low in the sky, and then at its peak, there were rings around it - pity it was freeeeezing outside!

Here are todays meanings of the Oracle of the Mermaids cards today :)

 

It's a very interesting reading I think. The question I asked was what does this Full Moon show us? So, what can we learn from the full moon energy at the moment? By now the peak of the Full Moon is over, but that doesn't mean it is completely over. The energy lasts for another day or so (depending on where you are) and now is a good time to harness the energy and release what we don't need.

The message of these cards today is that we have all we need to follow our dreams - we don't need to wait for someone or something else - we need to take those first steps and listen to our inner voices. What are your guides trying to tell you? Are you listening?

If you don't already have a dream journal, why not start one? Over the coming weeks, there are probably some strong messages being sent your way. Trust your intuition. Your first thoughts and responses - they come from your higher self - your connection with your deep soul - and are sent to help you and guide your way.

What are the plans you have in gestation? What are the seeds you need to sow to get them started? Do you need guidance? Listen to your instincts!

Card 1 - Fertility - potential, powerful energy, initiation energy

The mermaids bring you the power to create, begin, initiate and grow – it can be seen as fertility, or divine creativity. You now have the energy, the drive and determination to start new projects and carry them out to fruition. You have everything you need and now is the time for you to decide how you will use this creative energy. For a new life, new growth is ready for you now. The reversal of this card is barrenness, difficulty bringing things to fruition, infertility, creative blockages. This may be a time for you to heal so you can move on.  Enquire about natural alternatives to healing. Seek new advice or opportunities to start a business, spiritual or academic venture.  The time may not be right. You may not have the energy or time for anything new right now and need to tie up loose ends.  On a positive note this brings in a time for conception and growth – take herbal supplements and look after your health. Don’t be neglectful of your sel. You have great potential – tap into it! Now is the perfect time – you are ready.


Card 2 - Dreams - vivid dreaming, dream messages, dream teaching


When this card appears, please go deeper into the world of the dream… it may be time to keep a
dream journal, or to spend even just five minutes each morning meditating on your sleeping life. It is unlikely that you mind will have a great deal of information that will be valuable for you – there will be details and imagery, poetry and symbolism in your dream, and it is a creative, flowing, imaginative and surreal world you enter when you sleep. Spend some time each morning or day “feeling” the dream, the n musing on its meaning…do not try to pin it down or it will fly free, eluding you. Have long baths or warm showers prior to bedtime, and visualise yourself in a pool before drifting off to sleep. Allow the waters of sleep to take you, and the mermaids of dreams to sing to you.

The best guides are the ones who encourage you to create and develop your own source of inner strength, never requiring you to become subservient to them, handing over your own trust and self- belief in exchange for being guided. Ask questions, observe and examine beliefs and listen to your own intuition. Guides may be brought to you with the purpose of challenging you. Make sure they aren’t psychic vampires, feeding off your energy. Notice how you feel after each session. Someone is coming who you can trust. They are full of love and will help you unconditionally. Be ready for your abilities to be challenged – rise to it! You will be more grounded and spiritually aware than before. This might be uncomfortable for others, but you will feel healed.
